PCCI received H.E. Imtiaz A. Kazi, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and a business delegation to explore business opportunities and potential rice trade between the Philippines and Pakistan. The 15-man team is composed of members of the Rice Export Association of Pakistan. The group seeks the assistance of PCCI in negotiating, particularly lowering of tariff on Pakistani rice which is currently at 35 percent.
