General to all documents:

All documents issued from Pakistan should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp Offices in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta & Peshawar.

Documents issued from Manila Philippines should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Manila Philippines.

For Attestation of Documents

Attestation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin of the documents i.e. in case the document(s) has been made in Pakistan than by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan; in case the document(s) has been made in Manila Philippines then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Manila Philippines

  • Attach one photocopy of the original documents
  • Attach one photocopy of NIC/CNIC/NICOP/Passport

For Attestation of Pakistani Driving License

  • Submit Valid license, copy of which should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan
  • Submit one copy of the passport /CNIC

For Attestation of Power of Attorney (POA)

  • Submit Power of Attorney (POA) duly signed by the applicant and two witnesses with a copy of the same
  • In case of the multi-page POA documents (all pages) should be signed by the executant
  • Photograph of the executant on the POA is mandatory
  • The POA must be notarized in English and attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in case the POA has been made in Pakistan than by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan; in case the POA has been made in Manila Philippines then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Manila Philippines)
  • The applicant must appear personally before the Consular Officer of the embassy for signing the POA.
  • Attach a copy of National Identity Card of each witness
  • Attach a copy of Executant’s passport/I.D card
  • Any person/persons who executes POA from this Embassy are informed that deadline for registration of the POA from the concerned Assistant Commissioner/Additional Collector/Sub Registrar etc, meant for attorney/nominee in Pakistan is Four months.

After obtaining the confirmation of its genuiness from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta, the Embassy will attest it.

For Registration of Marriage

  • The marriage certificate in original (in English) should be notarized and duly attested by the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Manila Philippines (original + 1 photocopy)
  • Submit No Objection Certificate/Permission from parents attested by Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (in case of Pakistani citizen)
  • In the case of Manila Philippines citizen, a family certificate in original must be submitted
  • Attach Copy of Passports/CNICs/NICOPs (original and 1 photocopy of both)
  • Attach any previous Divorce paper (if applicable)

For Birth Registration of New Born Child

  • Birth certificate in original (in English) should be notarized and duly attested by the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Manila Philippines (original + 2 photocopies)
  • NICOP in respect of the child may be applied simultaneously
  • Passport in respect of the child may also be applied simultaneously
  • Bring Two (2) passport size photographs of the child
  • Attach one copy of parent’s passport/CNIC/NICOP (original and 2 photocopies of the set)
  • Submit Marriage certificate of parents
  • Submit Form-S (duly signed)
