Ambassador Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi was jointly invited by the Philippines Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ambassador Enrique A. Manalo and Senator Robinhood Padilla at the Department of Foreign Affairs in the wake of Philippines Government’s decision to grant Pakistanis married to Filipina spouses 5-year long Residence Permit. The meeting was also joined by Mr. Usama Mir, Vice President of Pakistan-Phil Friendship Association. Ambassador Kazi expressed gratitude to the Philippines dignitaries for their personal efforts in resolving the long-standing issue of a large number of Pakistani community residing in the Philippines as well as in the GCC states.
