MANILA, 23 March 2025 – The Embassy of Pakistan in Manila marked Pakistan’s National Day, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940.
The Embassy officers and staff, led by Ms. Zumar-E-Fatima Shirazi, Charge d’ Affaires (a.i) held a flag raising ceremony. Messages of the President, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister were also read out during the event.
In her remarks, CDA(a.i) highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s National Day as a reminder of unity, resilience, and progress. She emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties with the Philippines.
A substantial number of Pakistani nationals were in attendance to celebrate the National Day in the Embassy.
