Ambassador Dr. Asima Rabbani presented copies of her Credentials to the Chief of Protocol Mr. Ariel Penaranda at the Department of Foreign Affairs today. Both sides discussed avenues to strengthen Pakistan-Philippines relations.

Defence Day was observed by the Pakistani community in Philippines at a local restaurant in Manila on 15 September The main sponsor of the event was the local chapter of Pakistan Muslim League (N). The Ambassador was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
