A group of prominent Pakistani businessmen based in the Philippines namely Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry, Honorary Advisor of Federal Tax Ombudsman on Tax Matters (Philippines & Hong Kong), Haji Ghulam Abbas, President, Pak-Phil Association, and Muhammad Faheem, CEO, of Royal Linens Manufacturing Corporation, met with Ambassador today and discussed important trade-related issues such as the establishment of a Pakistani Businessmen’s Chamber (to be registered both in Pakistan and Philippines in the coming week) in order to increase exports from Pakistan to the Philippines and restoration of 5-year long Resident visa for Pakistanis.

They also discussed the presentation of a donation through a cheque to the Turkish Ambassador for the recent earthquake victims. They invited the Ambassador for a National Day related gala function to be organized on 23rd March in a local hotel in Manila.
